Project Manager Job Specification Position: Project Manager Location: London Project: North Quay Infrastructure – Deep Drainage and Utility Works Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of project management, ensuring the timely completion of drainage infrastructure, utility networks, and associated civil works. Create, manage, and monitor detailed project programs to ensure efficient sequencing of works, adherence to deadlines, and alignment with stakeholder expectations. Coordinate site operations, including liaison with trade contractors and adherence to phasing requirements. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including Building Safety Act 2022 requirements. Develop and implement detailed construction methodologies. Liaise with stakeholders such as Thames Water, DLR, and local authorities for approvals and inspections. Manage quality assurance, including inspection records, testing, and commissioning of completed works. Prepare and submit progress reports, risk assessments, and program updates. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in deep drainage and utility works. Demonstrable expertise in program creation and management, ensuring project milestones are met efficiently and effectively. Strong understanding of statutory and environmental regulations. Competency in design coordination and adherence to detailed construction drawings and specifications. Excellent communication skills for liaising with contractors, designers, and regulatory bodies. Familiarity with advanced construction software and electronic task management systems (e.g., ASite, Dome Connect). Ability to manage complex logistics, including storage constraints and craneage. Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience. Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred. Accreditation in relevant safety standards (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) advantageous. Desirable Attributes: Experience working in mixed-use development projects. Knowledge of DLR engineering and Thames Water vibration standards. Strong leadership and team management skills to ensure high standards of work
