NHS Lanarkshire Locum Consultant in Plastic Surgery (12 months) Applications are invited for this post of Locum Consultant in Plastic Surgery. This post will be based at University Hospital Wishaw, although there may be a requirement for PAs at Hairmyres or Monklands. This post is offered at a 9 PA contract with no on-call commitment. Additional EPAs could be negotiated after discussion with the Associate Medical Director. The post is initially for a period of 12 months, subject to mutual satisfactory review at 3 monthly intervals. The postholder will primarily be involved in managing malignant skin disease. Experience in all aspects of the management of malignant and benign skin lesions is essential including new and return patient clinics, as well as local anaesthetic and general anaesthetic surgery for skin cancer.
