Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Manager (Midlands)
Location: Field Based (This role will require travel to our Head Office in Cheshire - CW1 6EG)

Your responsibilities day to day will be…
* Achieve set monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets.
* Winning new business via cold prospecting.
* Approaching current Radius portfolio customer base by building internal relationships with account managers as well as networking to gain referrals and sales.
* Constructing, presenting and closing larger, more complex sales propositions.
* Develop a strategic understanding of our customer base including size, turnover, key stakeholders and business strategy.
* Work closely with our product specialists and implementation team on all new customers – ensuring their journey from prospect to customer is seamless and professional.
* Ensure the account handover process is followed diligently.
What do we expect of you?
* To have commercial acumen and the drive to maximise the profit of each deal.
* The ability to manage and set clear expectations to customers – always looking to exceed expectations.
* Proven to be excellent at self-generating new business as well as closing leads that have been shared.
* Previous experience working within Telematics/Telecoms/Logistics is highly advantageous but not essential.
* System savvy / technical skills would be advantageous for a complex or bespoke product offering.
* A positive, ambitious and committed approach to hitting targets and delivering on customer requirements.
