Team Leader – Housing and Homelessness
Hours: Full-time (36 hours per week)
Location: Midlothian region
Salary: £29,384.40 per annum

Who they are looking for:
As part of our client's work to transform the delivery of their services, they are looking to recruit three new team leaders who will become part of the Service Leadership Team. This is an exciting time to join our client and be part of the service.
They are looking for individuals who have a range of experience working within Social Care, Housing and Homelessness services or Community Learning and Development. Given the complexity of the services they deliver, they are keen to hear from individuals who have an aspiration approach to service delivery for the people supported by their services.
You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service; this might include evenings, weekends and nights.
There is an expectation that you are highly visible within the services you are responsible for.

Essential Skills and Attributes:
6. Experience working in a social care or group learning environment.
7. Experience in leading and managing staff teams over multiple sites.
8. Experience in delivering change and improvement work across whole services.
9. Experience in supporting individuals with a range of complex needs.
Desired Skills and Attributes:
10. Experience working within a Hostel or Residential Childcare setting.
11. Experience working in a Trauma-informed Practice setting.
12. Experience managing services that operate over 24/7.
13. Experience in managing Community based services (Post 2).
Qualifications/Training:
Essential:
14. HNC & SVQ 3 in social care, nursing, community work or related field.
Desirable:
15. SVQ 4 in social care or related field.
16. SVQ in Management and Leadership
17. Training in Harm Reduction and Suicide Prevention.
