Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager / ARC Signatory Reporting to: Continuing Airworthiness Manager Description: Act as Deputy to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAMO Post Holder), overseeing CAMO activities primarily at Biggin Hill Airport and across all sites. Main Responsibilities: Support the CAM in meeting Part-CAMO, IOM, and OTAR requirements. Oversee the fleet's continuing airworthiness activities as per CAME procedures. Ensure compliance with all legislative and company procedures. Perform airworthiness reviews for ARC recommendation/issue/extension. Support AMP development and approvals for variations. Review airworthiness data, including ADs, SBs, and modifications. Respond to audit findings and ensure CAMO staff qualifications. Liaise with Operations and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance. Oversee CAMO team support across all sites. Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of Part CAMO, Part 145, and SMS. Experience with MORs, Safety Management Systems, and regulatory compliance. Proactive with strong leadership and communication skills. Computer literacy and proficiency in Aerotrac. Education & Qualifications: Part 66 licensed engineer or relevant aeronautical degree with 5 years in continuing airworthiness or 10 years of related experience. Eligible as ARC Signatory. Additional Requirements: DBS and SC clearance eligibility. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel. Desirable: Familiarity with CAMO management software and aircraft fleet technical documentation. Completed Part CAMO/Part 145 training and General Familiarisation Courses.
