About the role
We are seeking experienced Department Managers across all shifts to lead operations within our Distribution Centre. You'll oversee automation systems, ensure compliance, drive performance, optimise processes, and control costs. Your leadership will be key in maintaining productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage automation technologies and troubleshoot issues.
2. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
3. Drive team performance through regular reviews, coaching, and development.
4. Optimize processes for productivity and efficiency.
5. Control departmental budgets and monitor expenses.
6. Foster a positive work culture and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
7. Manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.
About You
1. Proven management experience in a distribution centre or logistics environment.
2. Strong understanding of automation systems and their application in distribution operations.
3. In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and health and safety standards.
4. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
5. Analytical mindset with experience in process improvement and financial management.
