An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Enfield Division of the North London Partnership Trust for a Specialist Occupational Therapist. This role is embedded within the Enfield Community Rehabilitation Team. The role will involve supporting the team and division to establish the Rehabilitation Pathway and to develop the OT Leadership role within that.
The post holder will be a part of the thriving AHP community within the Enfield Division and the Partnership. They will have access to AHP training programmes and development opportunities as relevant to their role. There will be opportunities to join AHP Quality Improvement projects and service developments e.g. the AHP Race Equalities Working Group.
The post holder will work closely with the OT & AHP Lead, and junior OT in the team to develop and establish high quality evidence based occupational therapy specific pathway in a community rehabilitation setting. The post holder will hold a case load and work as an occupational therapist across Enfield Community Rehab Team, to provide assessment, plan and implement interventions, evaluate treatment, and ensure safe discharge. In particular the post holder will embed rehabilitation principles and develop the rehabilitation pathway within Enfield. The post holder will provide both specialist occupational therapy assessments and offer a strengths based, recovery focused approach with the aim of enhancing daily living skills, and engagement in meaningful and purposeful activities for service users across the community. The occupational therapist will provide specific time limited interventions with clear goals established with the service user and in conjunction with the supporting clinical team.
The post holder will provide expert clinical leadership and guidance within the Multi-Disciplinary Team, and relevant outside agencies. The role will entail offering an occupational therapy perspective to all elements of the rehabilitation pathway and inclusive of community and inpatient care planning.

In order to meet the needs of the new Partnership services you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Enfield and Harringay Trust and Camden and Islington Trust. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
