Reporting to the Group Sales Director, this exciting new role is responsible for new business development and sales. You will generate opportunities and sell products and services to achieve revenues in line with business objectives and sales targets. Success measurement will be defined by demonstrating the ability to open up new business opportunities quickly with quality. A large focus of the role is hunting with urgency and energy, with a view of building a stable of long term relationships and delivering repeatable business.

You’ll have autonomy to bring amazing ideas to the table and enable our commercial organisation to exceed their goals and significantly contribute to positive business and customer outcomes.
The following outlines the primary areas of responsibility. Additional responsibilities or functions may be required as necessary to support the business.
* Follow all companies Policies and Procedures including but not limited to Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Information Security.
* The role is also expected to perform any reasonable requests which are not defined but in the ability of the individual.
* Open new opportunities inside fresh accounts.
* Building DM contacts, hunting down new opportunities within existing accounts.
* Activity measurement largely based on outbound calls (pre-set and cool/warm).
* TXO provides comprehensive CRM and database tools to aid prospecting to compliment the new business strategy.
* Maintain regular phone or face-to-face contact with existing accounts ensuring that our knowledge of the needs, expectations, challenges and requirements are up to date and well communicated.
* Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
* Fully understand the business, buying and decision-making process of the customers as well as developing effective relationships with key contacts in the accounts to ensure ongoing sales.
* Maintain and develop a relationship with DMs within customer base to gain trust and transparency for ongoing and future opportunities.
* Ensure a high level of Customer Service, resolving and where applicable escalating an issues/complaints to ensure a high level of service. This may include Interface with other internal departments.
* Provide a professional handover of accounts as necessary on a timely basis.
* To achieve set monthly targets in line with company expectations as determined by the company.
* Be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales through sustained prospecting and activity.
* Provide accurate detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts and ensure information on CRM is tidy and up to date.
* Operate within published commercial and contractual guidelines, making effective use of escalation routes.
* Understand and sell the whole product portfolio, including hardware platforms/Optics and new customer solutions as appropriate to customer needs.
* Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the market, including industry, competitors and telecoms and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and implemented appropriately.
* Interface with other internal departments as required ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and quality of process.
* Utilisation and ongoing development of company CRM to assist company and customer information.
* Responsible for personal Health and Safety and operating in a manner which is safe personally and for others.
* Languages are desirable.
