We’re currently recruiting for a Head of Group Product Governance to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract, as part of our Customer Enabling team. This team drives customer centricity across DLG with a leading role in driving good customer outcomes through consistent application of regulatory change, product governance and the sharing of customer experience insight. You will provide thought leadership and technical expertise across the whole DLG product suite for all product governance and product lifecycle management activity. It's key that you understand and can apply the recent changes in regulation driven by Consumer Duty, and before that by the implementation of the PROD handbook. The successful candidate will be working across all our DLG products in both Personal and Commercial lines - supporting senior business stakeholders with new product design due diligence, significant adaptations on existing products, and/or run-offs. What you'll be doing: Develop, implement, and own the Product Oversight and Governance Policy and Frameworks, ensuring the framework and policy capture all requirements to meet regulatory expectations. Lead, coordinate and oversee periodic reviews of existing products and services to ensure they are and remain suitably compliant with DLG policy and regulatory expectations. Provide thought leadership across all product lines within DLG on all aspect of product governance and lifecycle management, including any application of change of approach. Create a culture of collaboration across all product lines, driving consistency and quality with regular, measurable actions demonstrating progress. Support each product area in the application of product governance frameworks including product lifecycle management (PLM), product reviews, outcomes reporting. What we're looking for: Experience of leading and designing products and/or product governance frameworks- setting requirements and expectations with a deep knowledge of Insurance within financial services business. Deep understanding of the PROD rules and how they apply to DLG as well as intersecting with other regulation (including Consumer Duty). Ability to lead conversations with the regulator and other industry bodies on behalf of DLG. Clear leadership ability within both a direct report and matrix environment. Excellent report-writing skills with strong attention to detail. Ways of Working Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach.
