Financial Adviser
Chester
£35,000 + Bonus (OTE's £80,000)
My client is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to ensure clients are provided with the best financial advice journey with the aim of building long lasting relationships whilst contributing to the growth and profitability of the team.
Qualifications:
Diploma qualified in financial planning is mandatory and ideally a minimum of 12 months holistic financial planning to clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with the existing in-house team, including administrators and paraplanners, to service the existing clients and help develop the business in the future.
2. Offer expert advice on suitable investments, private pensions, and tax planning.
3. Provide customers with accurate information and bespoke deals that will enable them to make an educated choice that suits their specific requirements (mixture of telephone & face to face).
4. Maintain transparent financial and contract details and liaise with service providers.
5. Contact clients and set up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises.
6. Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims, analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements.
7. Complete risk analyses, research the marketplace and provide clients with information on new and existing products and services.
8. Design financial strategies, assisting clients to make informed decisions.
9. Research information from various sources, including providers of financial products.
10. Review and respond to clients changing needs and financial circumstances.
11. Promote and sell financial products to meet given or negotiated sales targets.
12. Negotiate with product suppliers for the best possible rates.
13. Liaise with head office and financial services providers, communicating with other professionals, such as estate agents, solicitors and valuers.
14. Keep up to date with financial products and legislation.
15. Produce financial reports.
16. Contact clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments.
17. Meet the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g., requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided and also the advised products.
