About the Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate General Science Teacher for a reputable secondary school in Wallasey, rated “Good” by Ofsted. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic school environment, committed to fostering student engagement and academic excellence in Science.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, in line with the UK National Curriculum.
* Develop engaging and innovative lesson plans that inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and encourages students’ curiosity in Science.
* Regularly assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.
* Work collaboratively with the Science department and contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant subject area.
* Recent teaching experience in Science at the secondary school level.
* A genuine passion for Science education and the ability to engage students effectively.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
