Roles & Responsibilities Day-to-day team management of the Landing gear, Hydraulics and Test Bay departments. Plan and schedule FPBU workload in line with the site production schedule, through Quantum ERP system. Responsible for the development and maintenance of strong team morale/drive and team working. Maintain and ensure implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures. Train, motivate and performance manage staff; complete performance reviews, identify training and development opportunities for team members. Manage first level discipline and grievance issues for team members. Maintain the function of plant and equipment to include machine maintenance (preventative and scheduled). Comply with health, safety and environmental regulations. Maintain and monitor stock levels of consumables. Co-ordinate the efficient use and organisation of resources and equipment to meet the production schedule. Plan for and support the implementation of new product development initiatives. Ensure strict compliance and implementation of all safety standards - ensuring you can promote a 'Just Culture'. Ensure component work is undertaken in accordance with procedures from CMM’s and overhaul manuals. Liaise with the customer support team to facilitate achievement of efficient and effective customer service levels.
