MEICA Commissioning Engineer – Clean & Wastewater Projects (Severn Trent AMP 8) About the Role: A leading water contractor is delivering major AMP8 clean water and wastewater projects across the Severn Trent region and is seeking a MEICA Commissioning Engineer to oversee on-site commissioning and system integration. This role involves working across both clean water and wastewater treatment sites, ensuring new assets and systems are tested, commissioned, and integrated seamlessly into operational networks. The focus is on improving water supply, treatment efficiency, and sustainability as part of the AMP8 framework. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate commissioning activities across clean and wastewater sites. Ensure electrical, mechanical, and process assets are tested and commissioned safely. Oversee system integration, ensuring minimal disruption to existing treatment processes. Produce commissioning reports and documentation to support O&M manuals. Supervise off-site testing and pre-commissioning by suppliers and subcontractors. Work closely with project teams to deliver assets on time and to specification. Ensure compliance with Severn Trent’s operational and safety standards. Requirements: Experience in a MEICA commissioning role, ideally within clean/wastewater treatment. Strong understanding of MEICA systems and their role in water treatment processes. Proficient in MS Office applications for reporting and documentation. CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS qualified (or willing to obtain). Ability to manage multiple projects and meet commissioning deadlines. Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
