The Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) team in Japan is seeking an enthusiastic and data-driven Program Manager to contribute to the improvement and growth of the JP Operations network. You will scope end-to-end customer benefits through process improvement, coordinating across all supply chain areas to achieve continuous improvement and operational excellence in Amazon Logistics Japan.
Successful candidates must influence and work with stakeholders across multiple organizations and geographies including global regions, using project management and data analysis skills to improve Amazon Logistics processes. You will plan, develop, and execute projects. This role involves high ambiguity and autonomy, requiring you to assess and determine opportunities across the entire Process Path that have the largest network-level impact.
Key job responsibilities
1. Manage projects of new initiative, coordinating with diverse teams such as Product, Tech, Business, and Operations teams.
2. Scope large-scale, long-term programs for Amazon Logistics, including end-to-end project management from process/tech development through QA, UAT, Pilot, and Launch.
3. Collaborate with partner teams and stakeholders to identify business needs and implement scalable solutions.
4. Analyze metrics to identify issues and provide data-driven solutions.

The ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) team sets the worldwide bar for operational excellence in all Delivery Stations through standardization and a continuous improvement culture. We lead large-scale programs that drive operational improvements and support other teams in Amazon to deliver enhanced solutions and expand the network, offering best-in-class customer experiences.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree
2. 3+ years of program/project management experience, delivering cross-functional programs
3. 3+ years of analytical experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
4. 3+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives
5. Business-level English and Japanese proficiency (reading and writing)
Additional Qualifications
1. Proficient in Excel and SQL
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
3. Requirement to Travel
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
