Job summary
University College London Hospitals is seeking to appoint a Fellow in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology (PAG) on a 12 month contract starting October 2025. This post is designed for candidates training in obstetrics and gynaecology who want to develop skills in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology (PAG). It is suitable for candidates who have had two years' experience working as an O&G SpR. Alongside the management of common gynaecological complaints in children and young people, the PAG service at UCLH also manages complex congenital gynaecological anomalies, including Differences in Sex Development (DSD) conditions, in adolescents and adults.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will form an integral member of the UCLH paediatric and adolescent gynaecology team.
Their job role will include participation in inpatient management, outpatient clinics, theatre lists, and multidisciplinary meetings. The fellowship role includes responsibility for the organisation of multi-disciplinary meetings and theatre list management.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to attend other sub-speciality sessions to complement their PAG training. Whilst this is a clinical post, the potential to contribute to research, service development, and governance activity is encouraged.
The role will bring the opportunity to register and complete the RCOG STIM in PAG.
