We are looking for a proactive person with administrative experience to join a friendly team as part of the integrated Breast Service. The role will provide secretarial support to the management of the Breast Screening Programmes in both East and West Sussex.
Main duties of the job
1. Provide an efficient, effective medical secretarial service to the Breast Screening Department in both East Sussex Brighton and Hove and West Sussex, supporting the service with contract maintenance, rota systems, facilities lead for both screening services, organising meetings and taking minutes, and pulling data.
2. Use the National Breast Screening Service database and CRIS system to ensure that the service runs in accordance with policy.
3. Review the contracts, ensuring you communicate when they are up for renewal and work with internal and external services to extend or renew contracts whilst keeping master copies up to date.

Experience
* Extensive secretarial and administrative experience in a medical environment
* Experience of dealing with the general public
* Experience of Microsoft Office and Teams
* Experience of working with quality management systems/quality assurance
* Experience of working within Breast Screening Programme and systems
* Communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
* Organisational skills, minute taking, and arranging meetings
