We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Norwich. This role offers the chance to work on exciting and diverse engineering projects, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and layouts using CAD software.
Create detailed technical documentation to support manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes.
Perform calculations to ensure electrical designs meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective and efficient solutions.
Support the testing and validation of electrical systems, incorporating improvements where needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the design and engineering processes. Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
Strong understanding of electrical design principles, including circuit design and system integration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with standards and compliance requirements in electrical design.
Knowledge of simulation tools such as ANSYS or similar software is highly desirable. Working Pattern:
Monday to Thursday: 07:45 to 16:30
