Planning - Public Protection Officer
Information:
6 Month initial contract with potential to extend
£40 per hour Inside IR35
Office presence negotiable
West Midlands based
Working with the planning team
Responsibilities:
Part of the team who works on public protection (noise, air quality, contaminated land). Specifically looking for someone with planning and noise background, acoustics.
Experience working on HS2 would be ideal but not essential.
Supporting with planning applications, responding on a noise perspective
Building relationship with HS2 and picking up section 61 applications re ongoing construction noise and what noise implications will be once construction is complete.
Understanding of what they can and cannot comment on with a planning proposal and understanding how noise matters to planning.
Working Arrangement: In office 1-2 days per week, can be flexible with this dependent on candidate needs.
