EXHIBITION STAND INSTALLER

Our client specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of exhibition stands for clients at exhibitions and live events across the UK and Europe. They pride themselves on delivering creative solutions that deliver impact and results! They are very proud of their workmanship and strive to deliver the very best experience for our clients, old and new. As they approach their 10 Year anniversary, they are looking to continue the growth trajectory and recruit a new Exhibition Stand Installer to join their well-established team.
The Role
Are you looking for a role in an exciting and dynamic industry where no two jobs are the same? Do you like the idea of travelling around the UK and Europe for work, building exhibition stands for companies at the forefront of new and exciting industries? Working closely with other installers and departments within the business, your role will be split between the preparation of our client's exhibition stands in their warehouse and installations/removals around the UK and Europe.
The role will typically involve the following activities:
1. Working on both custom build and modular exhibition stands around the UK and Europe.
2. Manufacture/Refurbishing of custom elements.
3. Prebuilding/Setting out of stands in the warehouse.
4. Loading/Unloading vehicles.
5. Driving company vehicles to site.
6. Carrying out installation/removal work to a high standard.
The applicant will be comfortable working alongside the rest of the team to achieve the above. They will also be responsible for maintaining the organisation and cleanliness of the warehouse.
Due to the nature of the industry, you should be prepared for evening and weekend work where required for which overtime will be paid. You should also be comfortable working with ladders and at height.
In addition to the above, applicants should be eager to travel and comfortable working away from home. A full UK driving licence is essential.
The Ideal Candidate
For this appointment, they are ideally looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience as an exhibition stand builder/installer, shopfitter, or similar role. Experience in graphic installation, signage, or AV installation would be an extra advantage. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:
