Head of Project Delivery (Global) Location: Newton Abbot (with some global travel to the US, Czech Republic & Australia.) Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum, depending on experience Contract: Permanent, full-time (subject to a six-month probation period) Working Hours: 40 hours per week, based on business needs. As our global organisation undertakes an increasing number of strategic initiatives, we are establishing a Head of Project Delivery (Global) role to ensure efficient project delivery, alignment with business objectives, and effective resource management across both Harrier and District Photo Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Project Management Office (PMO), shape project management strategy, and oversee the successful delivery of key projects. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and lead a high-performing team to support global operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the organisation’s project and change management strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT and business projects, either directly or through a team of Project Managers. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. Implement and govern a structured project delivery framework, incorporating best practices from PRINCE2, Agile, and SAFe methodologies. Manage project risks, budgets, and resources to ensure successful outcomes within time, cost, and quality constraints. Establish governance structures to track project performance and benefits realisation. Act as a key liaison between IT, business units, and executive leadership, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder engagement. What We’re Looking For: A recognised qualification in PMP, PRINCE2, Agile (SAFe or equivalent), ITIL, or another relevant project management framework. Extensive experience in project and change management leadership roles, ideally within IT or digital transformation environments. A proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects and business change initiatives. Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, including Project Managers and Product Owners. Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall, SAFe) and business change management. Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. Strong financial and resource management capabilities, with the ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in an international or multi-site environment.
