What you will do:
1. Managing and maintaining the Microsoft and Windows based Applications on a day-to-day basis
2. Fault finding and diagnosis of issues within Microsoft/Windows Applications
3. Providing out of hours support for deployments and maintenances
4. Ensuring the Microsoft platform can support the bank’s growth
5. Implementing the best practices for security and operational management
6. Reviewing and challenging design documentation to improve efficiencies within the bank
7. Documenting procedures and ensuring current procedures are up to date

What you will need:
1. Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
2. In-depth experience as a hands-on IT Engineer, with strong knowledge on Microsoft and different cloud technologies and platforms such as Azure, O365
3. Expertise in upgrading and migrating Microsoft applications and Operating Systems to the latest versions
4. Advanced knowledge and significant experience on Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019)
5. Strong knowledge on different cloud technologies and platforms such as Azure
6. Significant experience on the following Microsoft Technologies: Active Directory, Office365, Azure (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS), Azure Storage, Azure File Sync, Azure Entra ID, MFA, MDE and CA Policy
