About the Role
A well-run store is at the heart of our operation. Without it, our technical teams would struggle to succeed, which could negatively impact our clients and their customers.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and maintain accurate records of plant hire.
2. Take delivery of new stock, check all delivery notes, and report discrepancies.
3. Conduct regular inspections of stores buildings and external storage compounds.
4. Maintain a safe and tidy store area following health & safety practices.
5. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
6. Assist with quarterly and full stock-taking activities.
7. Load and unload vehicles using a forklift, after training.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of gas fittings. A full clean UK driving licence is required; a forklift licence is advantageous but not essential. You should have meticulous organisational skills, be a great communicator and team player, and be comfortable using technology with an appreciation for keeping systems up to date. A client-focused attitude with a 'get it right first time' mindset is essential.
