Our reputation for high quality education and student experience is evidenced in the most recent higher education league table positions: we are 6th in the UK in the Guardian league table for education in 2024 and 16th in the UK for education in the Times Good University Guide. Our work in Initial Teacher Education (ITE) was rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted in our 2024 inspection. The recently published NSS outcomes for our undergraduate provision in the School of Education are well above the sector average.
