We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Kings Dyke team in the position of Packaging Supervisor. Responsible for Health & Safety, environmental compliance, quality control and other company procedures, the role holder will also be responsible for the day-to-day organisation and management of personnel, materials, machinery, and equipment, to ensure production levels of the required quality are achieved at optimum cost. Your duties would include but are not limited to the following: Check & record working stock (unit & blocks) Carry out Health & Safety checks Check labour levels before the start of shift Record shift labour Organise Workforce Constant monitoring of Strappers Check, grade & record blocks produced Liaise with ticket office Check Bagging Machines to ensure the correct levels of bagged product is available for loading. Record Net Production for Works Clerk Carry out physical stock takes Liaise with Shift Supervisor Report to the Packaging Manager About You: Effective communication skills. A good understanding of health & Safety is essential. A good understanding of the Fired Brick Standard. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Supervisory Management.
