Job Title: Billing Analyst / Billing Administrator Location: Glasgow (Hybrid working - 3 days in the office) Salary: up to £28,000 Contract type: Permanent This is an incredibly impactful role in a successful, mission-driven B2B company. The purpose of this role is to ensure that our customers receive accurate invoices and reports within a timely manner. Our aim is to provide support across various departments in relation to customer invoices and reports and to ensure the information we provide is accurate and customer friendly. The role will ensure that we support the business’s purpose and values by working well as a team to achieve the best outcome for the organisation and for our customers. What you’ll do Billing integrity checks Running test bills and rating reports to ensure accurate billing of new products and tariffs on 1st customer bill. Liaising with suppliers and billing provider to ensure the smooth running of daily and monthly tasks. Working on tickets in the billing ticket queue Housekeeping tasks to ensure complete preparation for the bill run. Help with billing process Issuing accurate invoices Investigate billing issues and propose remedial actions. Maintaining up to date documentation of billing processes Reporting & Analysis Refreshing Power Bi reports and making necessary changes to their presentation Project Work Assist in the introduction of new products and services to ensure that they are operationally supported ready for go-live date. Requirements What we are looking for? We are looking for an individual with good organisation and interpersonal skills who will be excellent in liaising with their team as well as working at their own initiative. You will have great attention to detail and motivated to continuously improve attitude and own technical skills. You will be working on project work, as well as carrying out reporting, you will be working alongside our Senior Billing Manager and our Data team, therefore require excellent communication and team working skills. Essential At least 3 years or telecoms billing experience Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s Demonstrates understanding of call data records. Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication ability Teamwork skills Organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and to deadlines. Desirable: Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools Telecoms experience, preferably using Affinity platform. Benefits Who are we?
