We are currently a team of over 400 client-facing consultants and 150 Head Office staff at Newton. We are looking for a bright and capable Accounts Administration Assistant to join our Finance team in a permanent role based in our Head Office in Kingston Bagpuize, Oxfordshire.
The finance function sits at the heart of the business, not only controlling and reporting financial performance as custodians of a £130m revenue / £40m profit business, but also constantly evolving and adapting to the business' growth aspirations.
The Key Requirements Of The Role Will Be:
1. Review and approve employee expenses on our expense platform
2. Set up employee expenses payment runs on our finance system
3. Monthly reconciliation of the company credit cards
4. Ensure prompt and accurate submission of all company timecards
5. Ad-hoc administration such as inputting purchase ledger invoices when demand requires
The role will report to the Financial Controller; however, it will require regular interaction with the Finance Operations team to ensure priorities are aligned.
As part of this role, we will expect you to constantly look for ways things can be improved and become a peer of the team in terms of challenging our processes and ways of working.
We are flexible on exploring if the role should be part-time or full-time based on the candidate's experience and preferences.
