Job Title: Integrated Management System (IMS) Auditor
Reports to: Integrated Management System (IMS) & Audit Lead
Department: Quality Governance Team
Location: Satellite Delivery Centre (SDC), Bridgwater (with occasional remote working and site visits)
Job Overview:
The Integrated Management System (IMS) Auditor is responsible for executing and leading internal audits to ensure the effective deployment of the IMS. This includes delivering the annual audit schedule, conducting audits, reporting findings, and ensuring that corrective actions are implemented. The role supports the delivery of high standards of quality management and compliance with relevant ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
The IMS Auditor collaborates with lead auditors, ensures stakeholder engagement, and contributes to continuous improvement of the management system by identifying risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a risk-based audit program for the IMS, ensuring processes comply with ISO standards and are effective.
* Coordinate with Environmental and Health & Safety teams to integrate their input into the audit schedule.
* Plan and execute internal audits, including defining scope, objectives, and criteria.
* Engage with auditors and stakeholders to ensure effective audit planning and execution.
* Identify and categorize findings, such as non-conformances, observations, and good practices.
* Produce and review audit reports, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.
* Monitor non-conformances and corrective actions, ensuring they are resolved effectively.
* Analyze audit results to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with Certification Bodies to provide necessary audit data and feedback.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Essential:
* IRCA Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015).
* Experience with ISO standards in a multidisciplinary project environment.
* Strong organizational and self-management skills.
* Ability to influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenge.
* Experience in data analysis and report preparation.
Desirable:
* Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects or regulated environments (nuclear industry).
* Knowledge of nuclear site license conditions.
* Membership in Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or IRCA.
* Recognized quality management qualification (e.g., CQI).
* Ability to speak French.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £120.00-£150.00 per day
