About the Role
My client, a leading Portsmouth based IT Services organisation, are seeking a candidate to act as Team Lead for their recently forming Level 1 IT support team.
The candidate will require solid foundations of IT knowledge, and be comfortable taking lead and responsibility for high quality Level 1 customer support.
Responsibilities:
6. Service management and reporting – managing the ticket quality process.
7. Leading a Level 1 ticket based IT support team
8. Ensuring consistently high quality standards of customer support
9. Carrying out incident support using troubleshooting skills.
10. Taking part in delivery of ticket quality reviews
11. Team Management duties such as rota management, performance reviews, 1:1s, recruitment etc.
Candidate Requirements:
12. Previous experience (1+ year) in ticket based NOC or 1st Line Support environments
13. Great customer facing abilities
14. Previous experience working in ticket based environments
15. Demonstrable experience leading teams
16. Being able to prioritise and manage time effectively
17. Work under pressure and to agreed targets in a fast past environment.
