Our Product Operations team is seeking a new Product Executive. In this role you will respond to questions from the Travel Sales team about our worldwide touring products and be the line of communication to our overseas agents for travel, accommodation or touring excursions questions. You could be joining a very established team, who are keen to welcome you onboard to a role where no day is the same Hybrid working, your allocated Hub will be either Crawley or Ashford, depending on your location. We believe exceptional work deserves even more exceptional rewards, so we have put together an amazing benefits package. 25 days holiday bank holidays Option to purchase additional leave up to 5 extra days Pension scheme matched up to 10% Life assurance policy on joining us Wellbeing programme Colleague discounts including family discounts on cruises and holidays Range of reductions and offers from leading retailers, travel groups and entertainment companies Enhanced maternity and paternity leave Grandparents leave Company performance-related annual bonus - Up to 5% Income protection Access to Saga Academy, our bespoke learning platform Main Responsibilities Our Product Executive will be accountable for the following tasks; Be the main point of contact for day-to-day queries from the business, and become a ‘knowledge champion’ for our products, destinations, and holiday types, enabling you to respond with swift decisions and answers Make sure all our holidays are set and ready for our clients to enjoy; all the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed Form really strong, persuasive working relationships with our suppliers, to ensure we are getting the very best service and support from them at all times Be part of the contracting process, negotiating with all suppliers to meet target net rates, and making informed recommendations to the Product Manager as required Work closely with colleagues around the business; from the Contact Centre and Marketing to Destination Services and Finance – communicating updates and changes as required We take Quality Control seriously Be ready to respond to any quality issues, liaising with suppliers and our Customer Service teams Work closely with the Product Managers to develop new tours and research ideas that will excite our customers Represent the company at trade shows, corporate functions, and occasional overseas trips Motivate and support the other members of the Product team The Ideal Candidate This is a unique and rare opportunity in a Travel Business. You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience to join our Product Operations Team. Be a highly skilled communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills IT literate across MS office suite Demonstrate problem-solving skills and be commercially aware Have a customer-centered approach and an understanding of customers’ expectations Committed to quality of experience, service and the customer journey Highly organised, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment Enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible Ambitious and keen to develop both within the role and the wider business Desirable: Previously used Tigerbay and have prior knowledge of our touring products Have worked in a similar role for a Tour Operator who offers worldwide bespoke tailormade tours Experienced in negotiating rates with suppliers About The Company Over the past 70 years we have become the UK's specialist provider of products and services to people aged over 50 in the UK.
