We are looking for a motivated Junior BIM Coordinator to join our team in London, E2.

The Junior BIM Coordinator will provide technical support directly to project team members and report to the relevant Associate, providing feedback on the team’s requirements for training, workflows or content. Typically this role would be resourced at 80% on project specific responsibilities and 20% on wider studio BIM requirements.
Core responsibilities of the role are:
* Initial project setup
* Supporting the teams to maintain project BIM models, associated data and associated project BIM support documents
* Training project team members
Day-to-day duties will include but are not limited to:
* Facilitate the development of BIM and Revit procedures for the wider studio, including tailoring project templates, management of shared parameter file and associated documentation output and families
* Input to studio’s BIM documentation, including BEP
* Assist with coordination between other consultants in a BIM environment, and where this is not possible, enable CAD information to be used within BIM environment
* Management and use of project specific Common Data Environments
* Ongoing model audits within the studio to ensure consistency between projects and maintaining of standards
* Facilitate internal BIM training, access team capabilities, and proactively implement training and support when required
* Monitoring the delivery of the Asset and COBie data
* Facilitate the creation of visuals and walkthroughs from BIM models for team use
* Model coordination and interrogation, ensure models work together (federate as necessary), maintain model, ensure information remains interoperable, clash detection, quality checks, data conversion
* Chair clash detection workshops and compile reports, follow up action points
* Identify, capture, export, and report key data from working models
* Help with modelling of complex geometries in Revit or for BIM outputs
* Sound knowledge of ISO 19650 and Uniclass 2015
* Exploration and testing of plug-ins and/or Dynamo to facilitate project development
* Research and testing of Environmental Analysis Tools within a BIM environment, for deployment on projects
* Troubleshoot project-related queries and help to deliver new solutions to the team
* Research and develop solutions to BIM problems
* Set up project models, for example establishing shared coordinates and model subdivisions
Technical Skills
* Ability to produce coherent and well resolved BIM models in Revit
* Ability to use a variety of software in the development and documentation of a design project
* Knowledge of relevant CAD systems, 3D and visualisation software, for instance Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, Enscape, Rhino, AutoCAD, BIM 360, NBS Chorus
