Job Role: Electrician with Test and Inspect
Location: HMP Highpoint
Salary: £39,000; Contract: Full time/Perm

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and we are looking for a Test and Inspect Engineer with any combination of:
1. At least five years experience working as an electrician
2. Two years experience in a role as a test and inspection electrician or equivalent - Desirable
3. Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems and catering equipment - Desirable
4. Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
5. Strong communication skills
6. Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word – Desirable
7. Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
8. C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation)
9. C&G 2391 - Electrical inspection and testing
10. NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
11. Good Health & Safety knowledge
12. Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
