Residential Support Worker needed within a Children's Home

Are you an experienced Residential Worker or Youth Worker? Want to work in a children's home that makes a positive, lasting difference to children's lives? We need determined, resilient people to be long-lasting, significant adults in a child's life.
About the role:
Your job role as a Residential Support Worker will involve working closely with children in care, putting them at the centre of everything you do. Your day-to-day role will require you to support them in all aspects of their lives such as educational pursuits, hobbies, and activities.
About you:
A successful candidate will have empathy, compassion, and resilience working with young people with mental health issues, EBD, and sometimes challenging behaviours.
Pay: Pay starts from £11.44 per hour PAYE and £15.22 per hour Umbrella.
Requirements for you as a Residential Support Worker:
* Experience in Support Work with Children/Young people.
* Confident in working independently and being proactive.
* Self-motivated individual with clear communication skills.
* Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the update service.
Shift Times:
* 8am - 10:30pm
* Ad hoc available
* Some weekend work will be required
* Some sleep-ins required
* Potential block bookings
