Due to internal promotion, Interaction Recruitment are currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join a team of 15-18 Housekeepers from junior staff to Supervisor level and to be based in a prestigious hotel in Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN14.
Salary c.£28000-£32000 DOE. The salary on offer will depend on experience, employment history and skillset.
Applicants:
1. At least 1 year experience in a hotel within Housekeeping at Team Leader, Supervisor, Deputy Manager or Manager level
2. At least 1 year experience leading a team of Housekeepers
3. A firm but fair hands on leader with experience in leading and training junior staff
4. Excellent attention to detail, planning and organisation
5. Prioritising workload, organising rotas to occupancy (typically busiest Wednesday to Sunday)
6. Stock management, inventory and ordering
7. History of working in hotels and/or conference centres
8. Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business, putting customer experience at the forefront
9. Ensuring all rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitised to a high standard
10. Creating a happy work environment for team members, ensuring everyone has a fair weekly rota
11. Organising rota's to ensure larger rooms are worked in couples
12. Provide relevant training, manage 15-20 staff, keep team moral
13. Ability to have rooms to a high quality standard within 30-45 minutes (excluding four poster rooms)...
