We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Head of Rents to join our dynamic team
This is a newly created role reporting to the Director of Rent and Service Charges and will be responsible for leading, developing, and delivering our rent accounting services across all tenures.
This pivotal role will involve working collaboratively with various departments to ensure accurate rent setting, compliance with financial regulations, and continuous improvement of rent accounting processes.
As a subject matter expert in Rent and its regulatory environment you will ensure the Group is fully informed of any upcoming and future changes in rent standards and legislation, and through cross-departmental collaboration, you will also ensure the board, regulator, and our customers are provided with reliable, accessible, and comprehensive rent information.

Some of the things we are looking for:
* Extensive experience in managing rents in a regulated environment
* Detailed knowledge and understanding of Rent legislation
* Experience and knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework relevant to the role
* Considerable experience of leading a rents team managing complex accounts
* Excellent communicator with ability to collaboratively engage with all areas of the business
* Innovative and forward thinking with desire to transform
* Ability to travel to addresses within the Group’s geography and attend conferences/offices as required
While this role is home-based, you should be able to travel within the Group’s area and attend offices as needed. Our offices are in Birmingham Business Park, Solihull, and Central Park, Worcester, with initial travel expected to be one day per week/fortnight.
