Purpose:
We are seeking a Property Management Surveyor to manage the entire property life cycle, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks throughout each stage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess the Group’s occupational space needs and acquire suitable properties to meet budgetary, IT, legal, and regulatory requirements.
2. Recommend and implement strategies to reduce unoccupied office space, thereby minimizing financial liabilities and generating rental income.
3. Negotiate lease terms and manage key lease events to ensure compliance and alignment with financial and market standards.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including Sales & Agency and Group Legal, to coordinate and deliver objectives effectively.
5. Manage and oversee external service providers, ensuring services align with contract agreements and Group requirements.
6. Work with the Property Finance team to advise on property expenditures, focusing on rents and service charges to support financial planning.
7. Assist in delivering short-term projects and activities as directed by the Line Manager.
Qualifications:
1. Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
2. Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Experience and Knowledge:
1. Proficient in Office 2010 and familiar with property software such as Qube.
2. Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Knowledge of the agency network is advantageous.
