Elevate is seeking an Ad-hoc Employment Lawyer for a 3 month Interim (potential to extend) cover starting asap.
To provide advice and counsel, develop internally consumed playbooks and polished employee handbook materials and support the legal practice as it expands teams abroad.
Reports To: Director & AGC, Employment Law
Hours: 5-10 hours per week
Qualifications and Skills required:
* 7-10 years as a practicing Lawyer
* Extensive experience in global employment law for multinational clients
* At least 5 years in-house employment law counsel, preferably in SaaS or high-growth tech
* Independent worker - Strong knowledge of local EU (especially France, Germany, Ireland, Czech Republic, & Spain) and UK employment law
* Comfortable in both advice settings and producing actionable written work
* Experience in establishing new HR and Legal functions in the EU
* Pragmatic approach tailored to client risk profiles
* Ability to quickly gain trust of legal and HR teams
