To learn more about our business and divisions, visit here. As a Summer Placement candidate you will assist in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and develop a strong foundation in quantity surveying. Your day to day will include: Assisting in preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and cost estimates Supporting in the measurement and valuation of work done on-site. Helping prepare and submit tenders and contract documents. Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure work is being carried out to specifications. We're on the lookout for students undertaking a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, who can join us on an 8-week placement. You must be returning to university upon completion of your placement. The role of Summer Placement Quantity Surveyor is great for you if: Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
