The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director and should hold or be working towards ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification. The ideal candidate will be motivated to enhance their skills and contribute to the Finance Team’s success. This role offers great opportunities for growth within a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
* Provide timely and relevant performance updates to the business at month-end and on a periodic basis throughout the month.
* Serve as a business partner to senior stakeholders.
* Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements.
* Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and internal controls.
* Maintain and strengthen processes and controls in compliance with Group standards.
* Undertake ad-hoc projects to support the finance team and strategic goals.
* Perform detailed analysis of all P&L accounts.
* Prepare month-end journal entries.
* Contribute to the annual audit process.
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
* Assist with year-end financial reporting.
* Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
Experience
* Chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
