Interfacing and supporting the QC Manager, QC Staff, Supply Chain & Production Staff. This role has been deemed inside IR35 Duration: 6 months Location: Ellesmere Port On site during training/then 3 days office/2 home. Negotiable salary dependent on skills and experience. Your duties and responsibilities will be In depth knowledge of the SAP QM module, Able to set up new Items from scratch including creation on Inspection Methods, Master Inspection. Characteristics, Inspection plans, Certificate profiles and assignments, and Standard Texts. To creation of Certificate of Analysis. Able to set up and maintain Quality Info Records for procured items as needed. Working knowledge of SAP Material masters and their interaction with QM master data, i.e. knowledge of the different Inspection Types and how these work for different material types Inspection Lot Management – Understand how to manage Inspection lots in SAP, Result Recording process and Usage Decisions etc Raw Material Approval- To compare supplier C of A data against specification, attach COA’s to the calendar and input into SAP To input supplier C of A data against specification for relabelled products and generate C of A’s (drop shipment/transfer orders) To input/transfer data in SAP for repackaging production orders To approve and sign off QC results worksheets and interpret external results reports before entering and validating quality orders on EP manufactured product Create and approve manual COA’s for products where required and then Create these in SAP to eliminate the need for manual CofA going forward. Liaise by phone and email with the plant and supply chain to ensure smooth dispatching of product from site. Monitor QC Inbox to respond to queries and proactively resolve issues appropriately. General assistance, where required, with implementation of the Quality Management System within the section. Raise and receipt purchase requisitions within SAP. You will have the following qualifications & experience SAP S/4HANA experience, specifically the Quality Management module.It’s great if you also have the following An understanding of Chemical manufacture and experience in QC procedures.The setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a chemical site. These can include, chemical burns, trips and falls, overexertion, cuts and scrapes, chemical exposure, inhalation of chemicals and confined spaces.
