Job Description:
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality components. This role requires performing basic inspections to ensure products meet quality standards, conducting daily Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) of machines, and collaborating with the Team Leader to meet daily production goals. The CNC Machinist will also follow a production schedule and maintain the workspace according to health and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Setting up and operating CNC machinery to produce parts based on engineering drawings.
2. Performing inspections to ensure components meet quality standards.
3. Conducting daily TPM and maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.
4. Working with the Team Leader to meet production targets and schedules.
5. Following health and safety standards in the workplace.
6. Being flexible with overtime to meet business needs.
Skills & Experience:
1. Extensive experience in CNC milling, especially with fabrications.
2. Proficient in programming CNC machines using Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain.
3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to produce complex parts.
4. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and target times.
5. Positive attitude towards health and safety.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Understanding of quality standards and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
