Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC) is one of the leading, historic brewers in the UK. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marston’s PLC, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history, and heritage in UK brewing.
We are now recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join us. Reporting to the UK Head of Excellence, this role will be responsible for leading and supporting the E2E Carlsberg Excellence Foundation implementation training, coaching, and assessment.
Key Accountabilities:
* Training and coaching on all the elements of Excellence Foundations, covering Zone, Performance, and Organisational Management brewery.
* Working alongside Department Heads and Shift Based teams to integrate the Foundations toolkit into the Brewery.
* Acting as a change agent for Excellence, promoting the need for change and assisting individuals and teams through the change curve quickly.
* Creating routine Foundations Reports covering plans, actual results, successes, and challenges.
* Represent CMBC in West Europe Regional Excellence visits to the UK and around Europe, as required (typically 2 times per year).
* Work alongside the Head of Excellence to develop the Action Plan/TIP for Foundations improvements quarterly and annually with Brewery.
* Facilitation of Improvement Workshops, taking a team through a structured improvement cycle to deliver agreed improvements to KPI’s/KAI’s.
* Conduct Gemba Walks and 5S audits to ensure improvements are sustained and gaps closed in a timely manner, also covering H&S Safety Walks/Observations.
* Promote all elements of Excellence Foundations through R&R, promotional materials (posters, banners, etc.), and sharing of Best Practice.
Experience and Key Attributes Required:
* University degree or necessary experience from relative position (Mandatory).
* Min 3 years’ experience within a production environment role and at least 1 year at management level (Mandatory).
* Proven experience in managing change, and implementing improvement programs (Operational Excellence, Lean, TPM, Six Sigma) to achieve budgeted targets (Desirable).
* Knowledge of Carlsberg Operating Manual (COM) (Desirable).
