The Opportunity
Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy:
1. Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
2. Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
3. Documenting and sharing with families in their children's learning and development.
4. Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.
5. Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
The Centre
Our 110-place centre in Elderslie includes a range of exciting, resource-rich environments. Located on Kingsman Avenue in southwest Sydney, our modern, spacious, and bright centre serves children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. With expansive indoor and outdoor spaces, we provide a safe and engaging environment for children to explore. The Centre features seven age-grouped learning spaces and a separate sleep room for the nursery. Each room is equipped with high-quality educational resources for creative and collaborative play-based learning, supporting children to develop a lifelong love of learning.
To be considered, you will have:
1. A completed Certificate III or WT Certificate III
2. Prior experience in long day-care
3. Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
4. Current Working with Children's Check.
