Role: Specialist Radiographer / Qualified Mammographer Banding: Band 6 Location: Norwich Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (Full working days required), Permanent Salary: £42,618.000 per annum The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Radiographer/ Qualified Mammographer to join our team in Norwich. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Breast Imaging department for a Specialist Radiographer / Qualified Mammographer to join our team. We are committed to staying at the forefront of developments in breast imaging. Your main responsibilities: You will provide a professional, high-quality mammographic imaging service. You will work in both the symptomatic service and NHS Breast Screening Programme. You will produce mammograms of the highest standard. You will supervise Assistant Practitioners, trainee Mammographers, and trainee Mammography Associates. You will ensure the technical quality of screening films. You will recognize abnormalities on mammograms and seek advice from Radiologists. You will communicate effectively with women to reassure them during the screening process. You will image both fresh and formalin-fixed breast specimens. You will adhere to Health & Safety and Ionising Radiation Regulations. What we are looking for: Experience managing a team of physiotherapists. BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. HCPC registered. Broad range of physiotherapy skills, including MSK. Permanent right to work in the UK. Previous experience in Mammography.
