Find jobs in the automotive retail industry
You'll be conducting technical training courses to a wide range of aerospace engineers in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of complex aerospace equipment. The equipment is mainly mechanical with a small element of electronics, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic devices, so you'll need an engineering, aerospace, or aeronautics technical background.
A previous Armed Forces or commercial aircraft technical career in airframe, fast jets, weapon systems, rockets, engines, avionics, or ejection seats will be highly beneficial, combined with an instructional or teaching qualification such as DIT, PTLLS, EAT 3, or a teacher training certificate.
Your trainees and students will be field service engineers, technical support staff, and armed forces personnel tasked with aircraft maintenance duties from around the world.
