Main duties of the job As a band 6 nurse you will be expected to take charge of either the whole department with the support of the Manager or taking charge of an area of the department. You should be able to run your area with minimal supervision. Able to keep the flow of the department going, can plan early for safe discharge, keeping the area safe and able to support junior staff.
