Our client, a firm of RICS Chartered Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, and Project Managers, require a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a full-time, permanent basis from their office in Cobham. The firm focuses on both residential and commercial projects, supporting a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, education, ecclesiastical, and landlord services. Known for their RICS-certified surveyors, they handle building surveys, project planning, and property renovations. As a company, they emphasize quality and sustainable solutions, guiding clients from initial project stages through to completion.
In this role, the Quantity Surveyor will undertake a blend of quantity surveying, project management, and Employer's Agent responsibilities across the retail, residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors. This includes working on a variety of new construction and refurbishment projects along the South Coast.
Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
1. Contract administration of extension and refurbishment projects and employers agent for new builds.
2. Preparation of feasibility studies including drawings and budget costs.
3. Carry out quantity surveying services.
4. Provide the lead on commercial and financial advice.
Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
1. Degree in Quantity Surveying
2. Full UK Driver's License
3. Strong interpersonal skills and client-facing personality.
4. Good levels of computer literacy with working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
