We are excited to recruit for this role at Golding and appoint an Income Advisor to join our team, where you'll be able to play a key role in shaping our future. What you'll be doing You'll be providing an income collection service for Golding Homes and ensuring support is provided to customers to sustain tenancies and support them when needed. You'll deliver a technical income management service to customers via face to face in office interviews, over the phone and lone working through visits to customers' homes, providing accurate advice on income maximization, debt management and welfare benefit advice. You'll provide income management support through early intervention of low-level arrears to ensure debt is managed by signposting residents to utilise Golding Homes employment, welfare, and benefits advice service, as well as liaising with the DWP and other external agencies to implement joint initiatives relating to financial inclusion and income management. More about you. What can you bring? We're looking for someone with proven experience of working to achieve specific targets. You'll be confident working with computerised rental management systems and have experience working with debt collection agencies involved in the support of vulnerable customers. You'll have an understanding of housing, welfare benefits, and other policies, regulations or incentives to maximise tenants' income, including knowledge of debt management procedures, legal processes, and rent and service charge setting principles. Please note a full driving licence and DBS are required for this role. When and where you'll be doing it You will enjoy a 37-hour working week and earn an annual salary of circa £36,900.
