You’ll set the strategy, develop the team, and work directly with the directors to drive serious growth. Get this right, and in 2-5 years, you’re Sales Director. After that? You’ll be out meeting customers, bringing in new business, managing the accounts you land, and driving a £5M growth target with your new high-functioning sales team. You’ll get investment too, with new tools, new hires, proper marketing support and new sales training if required. You’ll have everything you need to build a sales function that works properly. Where you’ll be doing it: Your company is a £10M turnover distributor of catering supplies, janitorial products, PPE, and healthcare essentials, operating for 20 years across London and the Home Counties. They’ve set a clear target: £15M turnover within the next 3-5 years. What makes them different? Simple: they’re the only supplier at this scale covering catering, healthcare, and janitorial supplies giving them access to a huge market or opportunity and diverse solutions for their customers They’ve doubled profitability in four years by streamlining operations, cutting inefficiencies, and growing through mergers. Right now, a high-functioning sales team is the only missing piece. That’s why they need you. What Skills You Need to Apply: You could be someone taking their first step into leadership or someone already in a senior position looking for a bigger challenge. Experience-wise, you’ll have at least 5 years in sales, and a solid understanding of the customer base and sector, whether that’s catering, janitorial, healthcare, or facilities management. You'll also be someone with a track record of developing new business. You’ll also need to be able to commute to the office based in Canvey Island in Essex.
