Role: Merchandiser
Salary: Up to £36,000 – Depending on Experience
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:00pm
Location: Stonehouse, GL10 3EZ – We encourage hybrid working at Gardiners

We want someone with:
* Experience in merchandising or buying
* Amazing multitasking and organisational skills
* Confidence in communicating and working with suppliers, sales teams, and colleagues
* Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and Excel (ability to use pivot tables and V-lookups)
* Familiarity with critical paths and project management
What will the Merchandiser role entail?
As our Merchandiser, you’ll be at the heart of our operations. You’ll work closely with the team to create ranges that customers can’t resist, while making sure we’re always ahead of the game when it comes to stock and profitability.
* Drive sales, stock turnover, and profitability by developing commercial product ranges
* Review stock and sales performance weekly, making recommendations to keep things on track
* Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth operations
* Manage pricing, budgets, and stock forecasting with precision
* Collaborate with our online and marketing teams to maximise sales across all platforms
* Attend trade shows and meet suppliers to ensure we stay at the cutting edge of the industry
