Job Description:
Financial Services Administrator - Permanent
The Role: Our client based in Newry requires a Financial Services Administrator to join their company and become an integral part of the team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, a pro-active team player with a can-do attitude, highly organised with attention to detail, and able to liaise with clients both on the phone and in person confidently and professionally.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support daily to ensure the smooth running of the business.
2. Carry out reception duties in a polite, positive, friendly, and courteous manner as and when required.
3. Deal with client enquiries and develop lasting business relationships.
4. Manage the processing and ongoing case management of new business applications for Pensions, Investment, Life, and Mortgages.
5. Maintain client information accurately on customised Back Office Software System.
6. Manage client reviews via Back Office System, preparing client valuations.
7. Arrange appointments with clients for Advisers.
8. Carry out product research and liaise with Providers.
9. Produce Illustrations and Valuation Reports for Advisers.
10. Liaise with Product Providers, Solicitors, Accountants, etc.
11. Ensure adherence to compliance procedures.
12. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff, Directors, and Advisers.
13. Responsible for the security and confidentiality of all information held.
Essential Requirements:
1. GCSE English and Maths Grades A*-C.
2. Competent level of computer literacy and good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and Back Office Software.
3. Strong and confident communicator with good oral and written communication skills.
4. One/two years' experience working in an Office Environment.
Desirable Requirements:
1. One/two years' experience working in the Financial Services Sector (desirable but not essential).
2. Previous reception experience and managing a Switchboard.
Hours of Work:
Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm
Salary:
£24,000 per annum (depending on experience)
